EDUCATION & ASSOCIATIONS
Kimberly earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and became a member of the California State Bar in 2009. Since graduating, Kimberly has dedicated her legal career to the cannabis industry, deeply embedding herself in its growth and evolution.
As a passionate advocate for the advancement of women in cannabis, Kimberly founded the San Diego Chapter of Women Grow. Women Grow is an organization created to connect, educate, and empower the next generation of female leaders within the cannabis space. Through this platform, Kimberly organized programs and events aimed at aspiring and current business executives. She proudly served as Chapter Leader until 2018.
Additionally, Kimberly was honored to serve as a Board Member of the California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA) for four years, where she co-chaired the Retail and Delivery Committee for two years. This experience has given her valuable insight into both the legal and regulatory aspects of the cannabis industry.
Since its inception in 2015, Kimberly has been an active member and regular speaker with the International Cannabis Bar Association (INCBA). She strongly believes that staying engaged with the cannabis legal community is essential for keeping up with the constantly evolving landscape of the industry.
